The "Descent Into Avernus" campaign was the first "out of the box" D&D game that Khris ran. The book was released in September of 2019. Due to the global pandemic that began affecting America in March 2020, Khris moved the D&D games to the Roll20 system and bought "Descent Into Avernus". While he ran the game directly from the book for the first few months, he was able to modify it to better suit his players as time went on.
Plot[edit]
A group of adventurers, Over The Top coalesced after stealing some sort of explosives from a shop called Fharlanghn's Fireworks. Shortly after dividing their bounty, they realized that the city was in crisis: infernal cultists had invaded the town and there were rumors that the city would be dragged to Hell.
Over The Top rose to the challenge presented to them by a member of the city guard and proceeded to destroy the headquarters of the cultists. Communication with the son of the Duke of Operations revealed that she was helping the cultists in their efforts to drag the city to Hell.
